'Kampung Queen's Row' is an animated video made in Blender. Kampung means «village» the Malay language, while Queen’s row is the street where I lived in London. In the video I've created a sort of island that’s combining buildings and environments surrounding me; a world that shares features from the two places where I actually live (England and Malaysia). Made in the structure of tourism advert, the work combines mine, my grandmother’s and mother’s early or scary memories. It’s the three of us doing stuff on the island together in a space that is impossible to exist.
