'Yesterday All At Once' is an experimental immersive experience generated through Unity3D. Brimming with 3D and 2D and audio assets within a contained environment of an immersive, explorable landscape presenting dynamic visual and audio experiences. With assets derived from and inspired by the daily life of the artist, combined with mythological elements derived from research both academical and anecdotal.

 

The work focuses on highlighting daily cross cultural experiences as a Southeast Asian woman living in the UK, but also to integrate Southeast Asian and Western mythology as a grounds for drawing comparison about stereotype both historically and in the present day.

Drawing on the idea of the diary, the work stages itself to be a culmination of the day-to-day experience in a non-linear, non-chronological way, through the interaction of object, sound, and movement. It seeks to experience life without time and place, but rather all at once, creating a sensory rich, new and otherworldly landscape, creating spaces of enquiry for what is real and what is not.
